Registration fee waiver

For W3C Invited Experts

The TPAC 2024 participation fees will be waived for all W3C Invited Experts. You will not be asked to pay for the fees once you completed the TPAC registration form.

For all other TPAC attendees

We understand that not everyone can afford the TPAC registration fee for a variety of reasons and we do not want any of these to be a barrier to participation.
For that reason, we make available an unlimited number of fee waivers to remote and onsite participants. The fee waiver operates on a trust basis, making no checks on eligibility. If you are planning to participate in person or remotely and cannot afford the registration fee, please contact w3t-tpregister@w3.org to benefit from the fee waiver before filling in the registration form.

Modification, cancellation and refund

We will allow people to switch their registration from on-site to remote, and vice versa, while retaining the same class of registration. (i.e., early bird on-site will convert to early bird remote, and vice versa).

If you need to cancel your registration to the event, refunds will be subject to a cancellation fee (which will vary depending on the registration fee and type of credit/debit cards).

To modify and adjust the fees or cancel your registration, contact w3t-tpregister@w3.org.

Inclusion fund

66% of the world is now online. We want and need to reflect the diversity of the whole world as more people continue to access, use and create the web. We believe that more diversity means better representation, which leads to better and more inclusive design, and brings higher quality results.

Sponsoring the TPAC Inclusion fund

We would like W3C to be a model of supporting diversity and inclusion. As an international organization, we can see the immense value we gain from having greater gender diversity, and expertise from across multiple countries and cultures. The diversity of the whole world needs to be reflected.

Started in 2018, and sponsored by W3C Members and individuals from the W3C community, the TPAC inclusion fund has financially helped between 2 and 7 TPAC attendees every year. You can read more about the TPAC Inclusion fund & diversity at W3C.

If you or your organization wishes to become a sponsor, please write to diversity@w3.org.
