Display Multiple Pages of Content
- Use case
- A reading system displays content in a two-up mode, perhaps based on user preference. This requires showing two pages of content at the same time (for instance, page 1 on the left, page 2 on the right), with user interaction of content enabled (selection, tap gestures, etc). There may be items displayed on top or between pages (eg a page divider). Pages need not be contiguous (page 1 may be displayed on the left, page 32 on the right) or limited to two pages (all pages in a chapter may be displayed in a contiguous horizontal scroll).
- Requirement(s)
- Ability to display content from one part of a paginated DOM in a specific element or sub-region of an element while simultaneously displaying a different portion of the DOM in a different area.
