This feature would let a publisher send updates to a subset of all subscribers.
It's especially important for distributed social networking, like OStatus. Users want to restrict some activities to "only friends", where others can be seen by "everyone".
Solutions
- Publisher sends a list of recipients to the Hub. Hub distributes the update only to those Subscribers.
