  • Title: Support of Self-Organizing Energy-Efficient District Projects
  • Description: This use case is developed by the project Proficient. The project develops business opportunities for SMEs in the construction sector by exploiting the emerging process of Collective Self-Organised (CSO) housing for constructing and retrofitting energy-efficient residential districts. Part of this development will be a Semantic Web collaboration platform.
  • Data Domain(s): Building Products, Building Devices, Building Control, Building Data, Energy, Geolocation and Weather
  • Objectives:
  1. Develop new SME network business model for Collective Self-Organised (CSO) housing
  2. Elaborate financial, regulatory and ICT tool sets to support SME network business models in the energy-efficient, CSO, housing market. Part of this development is the Semantic Web collaboration platform. This includes the use of the Concept Modelling Ontology to enable parametric online configurators.
  3. Generate new process models of collective-self organised construction and the retrofit of energy-efficient districts
