Eva Schlehahn is a senior legal expert and consultant at the Independent Center for Privacy Protection in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany (ULD, Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz in Schleswig-Holstein). At ULD, she is working in the research department advising EU-funded R&D projects on European data protection law and privacy enhancing technologies. Among others, she has so far worked on data protection matters in the context of big data, cloud computing, identity management, accessibility, UI/UX Design, IT security and surveillance technologies. Her goal is to work interdisciplinary to reconcile the need of data protection compliance with requirements from other domains such as technology and business.
