We aim to identify conference, workshops and other events where Interest Group members and W3C staff may have an opportunity to present the W3C Web of Things.

Manufuture 2015

This takes place in Luxembourg on 23-24 November 2015 and devoted to Europe's strategic objective to boost reindustrialisation and increase the manufacturing industry’s current GDP contribution of approximately 16% to as much as 20%. Dave Raggett will participate in the standardisation panel on Tuesday.

Consumer Electronics Show (CES)

The next CES is 6-9 January 2016 in Las Vegas. The W3C staff were present at CES and we helped with preparing a white paper and slides that were shown to analysts, executives and technical staff.

Industry of Things World USA

This will take place in San Diego, February 25 - 26 February,2016. The W3C CEO Jeff Jaffe will present the W3C Web of Things, and Karen Myers has agreed to staff a W3C booth. We need to provide a handout sheet and slides for Jeff's presentation.

Industry of Things World Europe

This will take place in Berlin, 19-20 September 2016. Georg from the German office works on it. We hope to have a stand and talk at the Berlin event then fly to Lisbon for TPAC.

Security of Things World USA

This will take place in San Diego, 03-04 November 2016. We would suggest Dave Rogers talk in it.

Delivery of Things World USA

This will take place in San Diego, 13-14 Octobor 2016. It's more developer focused.

IEEE IoT conference

This will take place in Reston, VA, U.S., 12-14 Dec. 2016. Soumya Kanti Datta is on the program committee. W3C has a chance to speak there. Special session or tutorial may be possible.

Interop Tokyo event

This will take place in Makuhari, Japan, 8-10 Jun. 2016. It is kind of CES in Japan. W3C can have a booth. If IG members interested, event like mini plugfest can be arranged.

WWW 2016 W3C Track

This will take place in Montréal, Canada, 13-14 April 2016. Marie-Claire is organizing the track. We(WoT) have 2 sessions. Dave has sent an email to IG public list to invite people to make presentation. Currently Dave, Louay Bassbouss, Sebastian Kaebisch, Frank Reusch and Soumya Kanti Datta will make presentation. Soumya will talk on connected vehicles. W3C Vehicle API is part of the talk.
