Success Criteria
3.1.2 Settings Changes can be Reversed or Confirmed: If the user agent provides mechanisms for changing its user interface settings, it either allows the user to reverse the setting changes, or the user can require user confirmation to proceed. (Level A)
Tests
Test Procedure 1
- Determine whether there are any settings in the tool that are not reversible (by exploring the user interface, searching the help documentation etc.
- If any such settings are discovered, then for each of these settings:
- Check that when you attempt to change the setting you are prompted to confirm.
Expected Results 1
- No irreversible settings are discovered OR check #2 is true.
