Success Criteria
1.8.5 Allow Zoom: The user can rescale content within top-level graphical viewports as follows: (Level A)
- Zoom in: to 500% or more of the default size
- Zoom out: to 10% or less of the default size, so the content fits within the height or width of the viewport
Tests
Test Procedure 1
- Identify methods of zooming (enlarging or shrinking the content (e.g. by exploring the UI or consulting Help documentation).
- Open a test document that is sufficiently long to extend beyond the viewport
Sample HTML test document: Text customization - Scroll in to enlarge the text by 500%. You may use a screen ruler or typographic ruler to determine the size of the text.
- Check that the text has enlarged by 500%
- Shrink the the document until either the entire width or height of document is visible in the viewport.
- Check that either the entire width or height is visible in the viewport.
Expected Results 1
- Check that both #4 and #6 are true
