Nuremburg SVG F2F Meeting, 21-24 August 2008

The Nuremburg F2F meeting will hosted by Examotion, and will take place at the same hotel as the conference, the Maritim Hotel Nuremberg which is located within walking distance from the Nuremberg main train station. The conference location's address is:

MARITIM Hotel Nuremberg, Frauentorgraben 11, 90443 Nuremberg, Germany

We will be meeting in the "Adam Kraft" room.

Wireless and wired network connectivity will be made available.

This F2F is co-located with SVG Open on 26-29 August 2008.

Getting around

Nuremberg is the second largest city in Bavaria and located in Middle Franconia (Northern Bavaria). The city has its own international airport, but most overseas flights have to transfer through Frankfurt am Main or Munich. Nuremberg also has a fast train connections (1 hour) from and to Munich.

Nuremberg has a very good public transportation network: Verkehrsverbund Grossraum Nürnberg. The underground takes you from the airport to downtown Nuremberg within 12 minutes. The hotel is within walking distance (5 min) from the main train station. It is not necessary to rent a car while staying for the conference. " (Area map)

Electricity in Germany is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. Outlets in Germany generally accept 1 type of plug, with two round pins.
