The schema for the Microsoft Errata10 test (group="errF001";name="errF001") is described as valid in the metadata. I think that this schema is actually invalid. E2-35 [1] (the erratum this test is trying to test) was superseded by E2-66 [2] before XML Schema 1.0 2nd edition was released. Due to E2-66 the spec [3] now says: "If length is a member of {facets} then it is an error for maxLength to be a member of {facets} unless there is a type definition from which this one is derived by one or more restriction steps in which maxLength has the same {value} and length is not specified." I believe the simple type "st2" defined in errF001.xsd doesn't satisfy this condition because the base type definition doesn't have a maxLength facet.
