This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
At some stage we changed the spec for xsl:mode on-no-match='deep-skip' so that the built in rule for document nodes was not to skip the whole document, but rather to apply-templates to the children of the document node. This change is not reflected in the expected results of test case mode-1436. I am changing the test results accordingly.

This also applied to mode-1437, mode-1437a. I have updated the comments to reflect the resolution of this bug (that is: that the tests were fixed to illustrate non-skipping of document nodes). Marking the bug as resolved.
