Description David Carlisle 2005-11-14 16:32:55 UTC
filterexpressionhc4 and filterexpressionhc5 are classified as filter expression
tests. but don't involve a filter expression: they have predicates in a step so
should be under Expressions/PathExpr/Predicates/

In a way this doesn't really matter (the grouping of tests into groups being
necessarily arbitrary) but it would be good if the test suite tested the
difference between filterexpr and predicates, which I don't think it does at
present, specifically the difference between ancestor::*[1] and (ancestor::*)[1]

Although, you can probably make a case on either direction, given the
thin resources that we have and risking the delicate meeting
of the minumun threshold for coverage, I suggest keeping the
tests "as is" for the time being. Perhaps when the resources
are more plentiful and time constraints better, we can look
not just at these tests, but perhaps at a lot more and address the
clasification issues.

Thanks,
