Context: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2012Aug/0412.html 10.3.9 currently calls out 'inline-block, non-replaced elements'. The rules it defines are acceptable for all of 2.1's non-replaced atomic inlines, though, and also for upcoming atomic inlines like inline-flex.
