[Odrl-version2] Common Vocabulary Update: 18 FEB 2011

Hi Renato

On reviewing the actions against one of the ACAP use cases, I find myself
wondering whether the Action "inform" is too narrowly defined. Consider the
Duty to "delete" an Asset. This would frequently be combined with a Duty to
"inform" the assigner when the Action has been performed. So I think that
the definition of "inform" should be generalized from

"The act of informing a party of uses of the asset"

To

"The act of informing a party that an Action has (or Actions have)
been performed on an Asset".

This would encompass both informing about permitted usages in the general
sense and informing that a duty has been performed.

Regards,

Francis
