Model Task Force
- Please add name on the wiki page when adding comments
- Reaching consensus on concept properties identified in proposed definitions on the Wiki:
- We are currently trying to tackle two problems, defining provenance-related concepts and understanding the position of provenance in the web architecture. We should aim to separate the two discussions to be able to make progress on each of them, separately, and only then, trying to bring emerging solutions together in a coherent whole.
- proposed
- to define provenance-related concepts independently of the web architecture in a first instance.
- The subject of provenance
- proposed
- the subject of provenance may be anything, whether physical, digital, or otherwise
- proposed
- in a first instance, to define the necessary concepts that allow us to express the provenance of a thing that does not change
- Process
- proposed
- there is a distinction between process execution and process specification/definition
- process specification/definition is referred to as recipe in the charter and is out of sope for this WG
- terminology needs to be agreed on
