Martin Alvarez, eGov Consultant at CTIC, and Manager at the W3C Spain Office.
CTIC is a Spanish institute which has led some Open Government Data initiatives in Spain:
- 2 5-star projects (http://datos.zaragoza.es and http://risp.asturias.es)
- 5 Open Data catalogs use DCAT
- 1 Open Data catalog uses VoId
CTIC is also maintaining a repository of public OGD catalogs in a triplestore, and a faceted browser to visualize the data.
Currently, CTIC is involved in the development of the Spanish Government Open Data Catalog, following a Linked Data approach.
