W3C Web API Working Group Wiki
This is the Group page for the W3C Web APIs Working Group. The sole co-chair is Charles McCathieNevile. The W3C Staff contact is Doug Schepers. The list of WG Members is available.
Mailing Lists
We have two mailing lists: one Public (public-webapi@w3.org, Archives) and one Member (member-webapi@w3.org, Archives).
As we resolved (@@link) at our Feb 2006 Face to Face meeting, we conduct as much business as possible on the public list.
Teleconferences and Meetings
Our phone calls alternate each week, in order to spread the pain of shifting time zones. Every second wednesday we meet at 07h30 california time, 10h30 Boston time, 15h30 UK, 16h30 Paris and the like. In the middle of the year that's 00h30 Thursday in eastern Australia (at Xmas it is 22h30). Alternating is Thursdays, at 13h30 California, 16h30 Boston, 21h30 UK, 22h30 Paris, 06h30 Friday Eastern Australia (mid-year), 04h30 Eastern Australia at Xmas.

The WebAPI Perpetual Agenda lists what is up for discussion next week. Group members are welcome to add to it, but please put your initials next to each suggestion so that folks can tell the difference between a request and the agenda proper.
Scribe duties rotate through WG members as can be seen from the ScribesRoll. ["Minutes"] are taken on our ["IRCChannel"].
Occasionally we have face to face ["Meetings"] - upcoming schedule is
- f2f4 - November 13-15, Sunnyvale (USA), hosted by Yahoo!
- f2f5 - January 22-27, Boston, W3C small plenary.
