This is not a firm commitment; it's like saying you're willing to be on the bench for when the time comes. Some possibilities are included below and feel free to improvise in the open text box.

Do you want to suggest others who do not currently participate in EO but might be willing to be on the bench for some of these tasks? If you do, check Yes and include in the comment box how Task Force Facilitators James and Anna Belle should follow up with you.

The completed draft of the Resource Development Life Cycle (RDLC) is ready for review and approval. Please take time to give a thorough review of the RDLC and provide your feedback below.
Important Note: Each of the six stages have a sub-page that can be accessed by the link in the table column headings. These pages are not meant to be complete at this time. While Resource Managers start to use this RDLC site, examples, tips, and other helpful bits will be added by everyone to these sub-pages. The pages are meant to be dynamic and updated with helpful ideas and templates.

Susan Hewitt | I accept the Resource Development Life Cycle; however, I suggest the changes in the Comments section below - for Chair, Staff and Editor's discretion. | "Resource backlog" under Deliverables for stage 1 and "Plan" as the task for stage 2 need to be more clearly defined. I may just not know what resource backlog is but what exactly is being planned in step 2? Are we scoping the entire document in terms of timeline, roles, etc? |
Caleb Watson | I accept the Resource Development Life Cycle as it is. | It would be great if people who have already created the artifacts required for each phase to create and attach template documents to each stage. |
James Green | I accept the Resource Development Life Cycle as it is. | |
Brent Bakken | I accept the Resource Development Life Cycle; however, I suggest the changes in the Comments section below - for Chair, Staff and Editor's discretion. | RDLC looks good. On the Sub-pages there needs to be some updating to the section that says and links to the next stage. Some have not been updated from previous RDLC draft. Not an issue for approving RDLC main page. |
Shawn Lawton Henry | I do not accept the Resource Development Life Cycle unless the comments in the Comments section below are addressed. | Comment key: * [suggested] below is "I accept the Resource Development Life Cycle; however, I suggest the changes in the Comments section below - for Chair, Staff and Editor's discretion." * [required] below is "I do not accept the Resource Development Life Cycle unless the comments in the Comments section below are addressed." --- [required] Under Stage 1, I don't know what is "Resource Backlog"? Maybe "EOWG Resource Management Tool"? Even if so, I don't understand why it's a deliverable of this stage – and it's not listed in the sub-page at all. [suggested] Not a big deal, but I don't think the Outreach Plan needs to be completed in Stage 2. Good to get it started early; however, don't really need it done until Stage 4. It might actually be better to wait until the resource is better developed to put too much effort into an Outreach Plan – because resources tend to morph after early drafts, and that might impact the Outreach Plan. [required] "Develop Internal Draft(s)" -> "Develop Drafts" or "Develop WG Drafts" or "Iterate drafts" or such ("Internal" could be mis-read as not public) [strongly suggested :-] I think it would be good to make it clearer that Stage 5 includes: publishing a first version, addressing public comments, getting EOWG approval to publish updated version, and publishing the updated version. [suggested] In the Maintenance stage, the options for results from a resource review are "(*Maintain, Update, or Retire?)". "Maintain" seems active, but I think this options is really "Leave as it" - yes? It might be clearer if called something other than Maintain. Totally a minor issue, though, so fine if others want to leave it as is. ---sub-pages--- [fix] https://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wiki/Stage_4._Draft says "EO Decision: Move to Concept Stage" but I think it should be move to Publication Stage. [fix] In https://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wiki/Stage_5._Publication I don't know what "Updated Backlog" is? Maybe "EOWG Resource Management Tool"? [required] https://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wiki/Stage_6._Maintenance "which are the 3 choices a resource manager can choose from when conducting the annual review of each resource." -> "which are the 3 choices a resource manager can suggest when conducting the annual review of each resource." |

The Resource Management Tool, our internal resource overview list, is now in a workable state.
During the teleconference, Eric gave an overview of the page and a quick demonstration of how to edit content for listed resources and how to add new resources. If after testing out the tool you need further assistance, please reach out to Eric or Brent to set up a time for instruction.
Note: Not all resources are listed in the tool yet (still gathering the information), but you can edit the ones which are present and you can add files for new resources.
The previous listing of Resources with indication of Resource Manager is WAI Pages.
To edit, click the "Edit" link underneath every resource title. To add, use the form on the page to create a new file with placeholders that should help you fill out the file. A minimal amount of form documentation is available.
Important: If you get a notice that you need to fork the repository to edit, send Eric an email with your GitHub user name to get direct write access.
Question: How are you coming with your assigned resources? Indicate with a selection below.
