[Update: Icons for review are moved to https://www.w3.org/WAI/teach-advocate/accessibility-icon-set-review and the previous page will have the final icons.]
We are near to finalizing a set of 5 + 1 icons for accessibility. Please see background and the proposed icons in Accessibility Icons for Review / Accessibility Icon Set from W3C WAI. (later we'll pretty up that page)
We invite EOWG participants, WAI Team, W3C Communications Team, and others to review these icons before we finalize them.
Please see the other comments in this survey results and comment on other's input, if you have reactions.

I note Steve's comment: "The fact that the ends of the head get closer to the surrounding circle than other icons makes it feel out of ballance with the set." Agree that it feels a little bigger. I think also there is just more going on, more lines. I also wonder if the lines are a wee bit thicker, especially the 3 sound lines? I put all the new icons together so it's easier to evaluate this point: https://www.w3.org/WAI/teach-advocate/accessibility-icon-set#all I'll bring it up with Kenzo (and Tanya?) and see if they have thoughts... |

Note that the plan is to have 2 versions available. If used with the others, we'd use the outline version. We might use the solid version stand-alone in different contexts.

I presume we consider a body with arms down rather than arms raised? (i.e. in the style of https://www.teepublic.com/en-au/posters-and-art-prints/5053745-single-stick-figure-hand-drawn-in-very-simple-line) That seems more natural to me, but I'll accept the WG decision. |

Four options are currently under consideration. (Some of the previous iterations are also included on the page. Note that the last set were initially ruled out because they look like a hearing aid, which we do not want to convey.)
In hopes that we don't need a second follow-up survey, any of the three "Yes" options indicates your support or at least acceptance. Please do select "Yes and prefer" or "Yes, but prefer not" as relevant.
Please include additional comments to clarify your position, and if needed, to help refine another iteration.
