Objectives for Web Accessibility Training

Some audiences want the "why" of Web accessibility; others may already know "why," and instead need to know "how." This page contains questions to help focus the training.

Find out audience's needs and expectations in advance.

Questions to ask in advance:

• How familiar is the audience with Web accessibility?
• What kind of background does the audience have?
• What will the audience need to do with this information?
• Are there opportunities to get materials to the audience in advance, or online during the session?
• Will there be opportunities for follow up?

Establish learning objectives with the training host.

Audiences may have a combination of several of the following objectives. Each objective below links to resources and approaches on another page.
