This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
XDM 6.7.1 specifies the handling of empty Text Nodes (Text Nodes whose content is the zero-length string). 6.7.3 (Construction from an Infoset) contains two identical reminders of this treatment (under 'content' and at the very end of the section). However, 6.7.4 (Construction from a PSVI) has no such reminder. It would make more sense if each had one reminder. See Bug 5978 for justification and history.
Resolved as per your suggestion; the last paragraph in 6.7.3 is removed and is inserted as the last paragraph of 6.7.4.
Okay, closing.
