3.2.2 Normalization judgment
Please provide an example of how the subscript in a 
normalization judgment could be used to transmit information
from one side of the normalization to the other.  I believe
the first occurrence of this usage is in section 4.1.5
"Function calls".

Added an example based on the normalization of function calls, as suggested.
