The World Wide Web Consortium today released Web Services Description Language (WSDL) Version 2.0 Part 0: Primer, Web Services Description Language (WSDL) Version 2.0 Part 1: Core Language and Web Services Description Language (WSDL) Version 2.0 Part 2: Adjuncts as Recommendations. "In addition to the rigorous interoperability testing, we're pleased to have given developers the HTTP binding, which provides simple Web-friendly access to a service," said Jonathan Marsh (WSO2), Working Group co-Chair. WSDL models and describes modular Web services and is used to document distributed systems and to automate communication between applications.
