The GRDDL Working Group has published GRDDL Use Cases: Scenarios of extracting RDF data from XML documents as a Working Group Note. With important applications such as connecting microformats to the Semantic Web, Gleaning Resource Descriptions from Dialects of Languages (GRDDL) is a mechanism to extract RDF statements from suitable XHTML and XML content using programs such XSLT transformations.
