The Efficient XML Interchange Working Group released an updated Working Draft of Efficient XML Interchange Measurements Note. An analysis of the expected performance characteristics of a potential Efficient XML Interchange (EXI) encoding format, the draft covers the "compactness," "processing efficiency" and "roundtrip support" properties and outlines plans for future updates.
