W3C Offices Meet Face to Face in Amsterdam

W3C's Offices held their annual meeting on 10-11 January in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. "Office representatives from five continents and members of the W3C Communication Team have gathered at CWI, the hosting institution of the W3C Benelux Office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Issues related to W3C Membership, Office events, outreach, and plans for the future of the W3C Office program for 2006 and beyond were discussed," said Ivan Herman, Head of Offices. W3C Offices work with their regional Web communities to promote W3C technologies in local languages, broaden W3C's geographical base, and encourage international participation in W3C Activities.
