Last Call: XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 Formal Semantics
Addressing comments from the previous Last Call, the XML Query Working Group and the XSL Working Group released three updated requirements documents and a Last Call Working Draft for the XQuery and XPath languages. Important for databases, search engines and object repositories, XML Query can perform searches, queries and joins over collections of documents. XPath is used to select parts of XML documents.
