Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P) Becomes a W3C Proposed Recommendation

W3C is pleased to announce the advancement of the The Platform for Privacy Preferences 1.0 (P3P1.0) Specification to Proposed Recommendation. P3P is a simple automated way for users to gain control over the use of their personal information on Web sites they visit. Comments are welcome through 25 February.
