XPointer Becomes a W3C Candidate Recommendation

W3C is pleased to announce the advancement of the XML Pointer Language (XPointer) Version 1.0 to Candidate Recommendation. XPointer can be used in URI references to address parts of an XML document such as elements, attributes, character content, and relative position. Comments are welcome through 4 March 2002.
