HTML5 brings video as a first class citizen. Emulating a TV device in a Web browser is tempting but the Web does not address all needs for professional video delivery yet. Nevertheless, the Web already provides a fantastic opportunity to put the user back in control and provide a unique user experience on TV that combines terminals, meta-data and social networks.
