Definition of the Open Knowledge Space (OKS) benefits from understanding the state of the art Semantic Web technologies. Build on top of the Architecture of the World Wide Web, Semantic Web technologies provide the enabling interoperability standards for, e.g., semantic searches. In this tutorial, we briefly introduce the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Semantic Web activity, the related core technologies, and consider their applicability in the OKS.
