This breakout will serve as an update to the broader community about the Web Install API. We will be discussing the shape of the API, decisions behind it, and show the progress around the API.

As the platform continues to evolve with richer and more powerful capabilities, more developers lean on PWAs to reach their customers. Distribution is still tied to native app stores or proprietary protocol workarounds, with one big gap related toa application distribution.
