Dear Semstats CG,
I am now working for the Australian Bureau of Stats, and am also chairing the W3C Spatial Data on the Web Working Group (SDWWG). I would like to see the W3C RDF datacube used as the recommended model for remote sensing and time series data coming out of the SDWWG. http://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/wiki/Main_Page
This should also work well for linking geography with official statistics on the Web — I am aware that geography and official statistics are poor playmates right now.
What do you think? Is this Community group willing to help? There are already several shared members).
Hi, is there anyone at home in this group? No activity since 2013/5, although semweb is becoming more and more important in my opinion. Question: Could the topic semweb (especially for public statistics) be better discussed elsewhere?
