Proposed Group: CSV on the Web Community Group
Posted on:The CSV on the Web Community Group has been proposed by Dan Brickley:
CSV on the Web collaboration, discussion and mutual support for implementors, publishers and spec developers. Focus is on W3C’s CSVW specs but also on related work e.g. R2RML, potential extensions, errata and test cases.
You are invited to support the creation of this group. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work. In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account.
Once launched, the group will no longer be listed as “proposed”; it will be in the list of current groups.
If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org
Thank you,
W3C Community Development Team
As the charter of W3C’s CSVW WG is drawing to a close, we wanted to establish a public mailing list for ongoing community discussion around the specs – both for the recent RECs but also as a hub to gather implementor experience relating to possible future improvements, clarifications etc.
The specs include some extensibility mechanisms (e.g. http://w3c.github.io/csvw/metadata/#dfn-transformation-definition ) – this CG will provide a natural home for discussion of common extensions and for the use of CSVW alongside various other technologies.
