Proposed Group: Portable Gaming Web
Posted on:The Portable Gaming Web has been proposed:
Designated workgroup to discuss and develop guidelines and standards around universally portable gaming through the web. Portability includes the recognition of device capabilities to allow games to alter functionality depending on available resources, allowing for portability of embedded games as well as general games for the typical personal computer.
The workgroup will look at 3-dimensional audio and video as well as the traditional 2-dimensional drawing capabilities to deliver a framework for modern game developers.
You are invited to support the creation of this group. Once the group has a total of five supporters, W3C launch the group and people can join to begin work.
In order to join the group, you will need a W3C account.
