IO Informatics, Inc., and the NCE CECR PROOF Centre of Excellence University of British Columbia have provided a W3C Semantic Web Case Study on a system helping clinicians to assess the risk of organ failure through immune rejection. The system is based on the integration of public data, clinical endpoints, LODD data, and public medical ontologies. The integration is done using RDF; the integrated data is statistically analyzed, SPARQL ASK queries are created and stored, and the system is packaged into a Web based user interface that clinicians can use.
