Introduction
This page provides a work plan for the Research and Development Working Group (RDWG). It is an internal planning page to help coordinate upcoming teleconferences, seminar events, and publications of the group. The RDWG Process provides information about RDWG procedures and processes.
Seminar Planning
The following describes the default timeline for RDWG Teleconference Seminars:
- -15 weeks - select topic, editors, and planning committee
- -14 weeks - announce pre-notification of call for papers
- -12 weeks - announce call for papers and scientific committee
- -8 weeks - deadling for paper submissions
- -6 weeks - review feedback and start of rebuttal period
- -4 weeks - deadline for final papers, announcement of program
- -2 weeks - pubication of accepted papers and registration opens
- Day X - teleconference symposium
- +2 weeks - draft teleconference proceedings for WG review
- +4 weeks - announcement of teleconference proceedings (papers, captions, ...)
WG Note Planning
The following default timeline applies (in addition to the Seminar Planning timeline) for the publication of Consolidated RDWG Findings:
- Day X - teleconference seminar event
- +4 weeks - Editors Draft of WG Note for review by the WG
- +8 weeks - WG approval for publication of the WG Note
- +10 weeks - Working Draft publication of the WG Note
- +14 weeks - WG approval for publication of the WG Note
- +16 weeks - Publication and announcement of the WG Note
