Connection

• Hub connection. A computer labelled Node A, described as "100 Base-TX, 10 Base-T Auto Negociation" linked to a switch labeled Hub, with the same description , itself linked to a computer labeled Node B, described as "10 Base-T".
• Agent roles. A Selling agent (represented a man, a computer and a group of people meeting) is connected to a Trading Rules Agent (a man and a bookcase), a Risk Assessment Agent (a man and a danger sign), a Data mining agent (a man and a file drawer) and a Price Forecasting Agent (a man and chart).
• ATM flow. A Carrier ATM Network is connected to Customer premises. Inside the Carrier ATM Network there is a Carrier Code ATM Switch and a Carrier Edge ATM switch. Inside the customer premises there is a Backbone ATM Switch and a 2 connections to LAN/ATM switch, from where several connections are leaving.
• Star shipment model. A 5 corner star shape is shown with a central Shipments label and circular from the top: Ship From, Customers, Mode of Shipments, Products, Shipping Dates.
• COM architecture. 4 sets of things are connected to an Object Request Broker: Application Objects, CORBAdomains, CORBAservices and CORBAfalicities.
• Communication flow. A sender box is connected using bi-directional link to a Communications Technology box, itself connected to a Receiver box.
• Commerce flow triade. A Payer (consummer) is connected (Payment) to a Payee itself connected (deposit) to a Financial Network (bank), itself connected (withdrawal) to the Payer.
• Company flow. Research Investment is connected to Production, itself connected to Revenues and to Market Price. Revenues of connected back to Reseach Investment and Market Price is connected to Revenues.
• Drill process. Amount of Oil is connected to Revenues, and to Seismic Structure, itself connected to Exp Seismic Text. Revenues is connected to Profit, and so is Drilling Costs and Test.

Layer

• Another COM architecture. MTS Components sits on top of MTS, itself on top of COM infrastructure. ActiveX sites on top of COM infrastructure and Compound Documents (OLE), which also sits on top of COM infrastructure.
• OMG soft. Agency and Market Layer both sit half on Catalogue and Brokerage and on Contract and Service. Contract and Service sits mostly on Selection/Negociation,Payment,Navigation,Desktop and also on Bess Objects, Semantic Data, Policy. Commerce Layer sits on .. etc. At the center there is CORBA IIOP.
• Ecommerce foundation. Open Market Processes is based on Electronic Information, Electronic Relationships and Electronic Transactions, they are all on top on Existing Market Space.
• Pluggage policy. Policy plugs into Firewalls, Access Managements, Host Security and Encryption.

Hierarchical

• Animal ancestry. Root is primite artiodactyl ancestor, 2 branches: mesonychid? and one that leads to pig and camel. mesonychid? has 2 branches, cetaceans:dolphins, whales and one that leads to hippopotamus and ruminants: cow, sheep, giraffe. A box labelled "F,G,D,E,A,B,C independent SINE insertion events" is connected to the mesonychid? branches.

• Database Record. Account branches (1,*) to Entry [amount: Quantity], which branches (2,1) to Transaction, and is connected to a Constraint [Sum(entries.amount)=0].
• Language hierarchy. Root is Proto Indo-Aryan. 3 childrens: Aryan, Iranian, Dardic. Aryan has 5 children: Hindi-Urdu, Gujrati, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Siraiki/Hind-ko etc. Iranian has 2 children: Persic and Medic. etc

• Sound waves. A sound source emits waves that goes thru a mic diaphram and housing, with holes labeld Pfront and Prear. There is a formula: Mic Out ~= Pfront - Prear.
