Participation is open to members in good standing of W3C/WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (WCAG WG), and to individuals interested in participating in and contributing to the efforts of the WCAG WG. Any participants not already participants of the WCAG WG should read the WCAG WG Charter and the how to join page, and send the requested information to the WCAG WG Chair and staff contact.
The focus of this meeting is to advance the WCAG 2.0 Techniques documents.
Pre-registration is required of everyone attending the WCAG WG meeting. Registration ends 2 September 2003.
Breakfast will not be provided
The focus of today is to resolve issues with the HTML Techniques Working Draft. We plan to send this draft to the rest of the WCAG Working Group to bless for publication as a public working draft (a TR draft). This might include breaking into small groups to make progress on work items or group discussion of proposals.
The meeting will be held at the University of Toronto in Room 7029 of the Robarts Library at 130 St. George street.
To get from the hotel to the Robarts Library walk East along Bloor street to St George street (about 1 minute). Walk South on St. George street (turn right from Bloor) about 2-3 minutes until you come to the first stoplights. The Robarts library is a big grey modern building on the North-West corner of Harbord and St. George street. Information about Robarts Library is available from the University of Toronto.

It's within a 5 minute walk of the meeting venue. The rate is $99 (CAD) per night for a single room (plus taxes) if you ask for the U of T special rate.
Take bus #192 from the airport to Kipling station. Take the Kipling subway to St. George station. Walk from St. George station to the hotel (2-3 minutes). Entire trip takes about 1 hour. More information is available from the Toronto Transit Comission.
Cabs from the airport to the hotel are about $40.
The Toronto International Film Festivalis going on at the same time as our meetings. It's best to book the films in advance (end of the day Wednesday Aug. 27).The film list should be available at the web site on Tuesday Aug. 19.
