	When running over ethernet, the RPC system tries the following
    ethernet device drivers in turn: XE:, XQ:, ES:, ET:. If none of
    these exist, a "No such device" error will be returned.  The ET:
    device name was only added to the list on 14-Mar-88 and so all RPCVMS
    releases before that date (V2.1 and earlier) will not work on BI
    machines whose only ethernet device is a DEBNT interface, and so
    have only an ET: driver.  If you have this problem, mail me for
    a prerelease of the new runtime support.
