Getting around

From the SVG Open site:

The city has its own international airport, but most overseas flights have to transfer through Frankfurt am Main or Munich. Nuremberg also has a fast train connections (1 hour) from and to Munich.

Nuremberg has a very good public transportation network: Verkehrsverbund Grossraum Nürnberg. The underground takes you from the airport to downtown Nuremberg within 12 minutes. The hotel is within walking distance (5 min) from the main train station. It is not necessary to rent a car while staying for the conference. See map of the area.
