SVG is a widely-deployed royalty-free graphics format developed and maintained by the W3C SVG Working Group.
The mission of the SVG Interest Group, part of the W3C Graphics Activity, is to help the SVG Working Group. Its aims are to foster widespread discussion and use of SVG as a format and a platform, to gather requirements for the SVG WG to consider for future additions to the language, and to enhance the adoption and usability of SVG in combination with other technologies through testing support, interoperability, and experimental features.
If you are interested in joining the SVG Interest Group, read the instructions and email the Team Contact for the SVG Interest Group!
There is also a Japanese chapter of the SVG Interest Group for those who wish to participate in this locale-specific group focused on local issues in their native language, culture, and timezone. If you are interested in creating a locale-specific chapter for your area, contact the Team Contact for the SVG Interest Group.
