What is the semantics of a union b except a? Is it: (a) "b" (b) "a" and "b" Make binding explicit in the textual semantics.
The TF agreed to add a sentence to section 3.2.5, FTStopWordOption, the paragraph beginning "Multiple stop word lists...". That sentence will read "union and except are applied from left to right" (or words to that effect).
