I don't believe the test fn-resolve-uri-16 should fail. The F&O spec gives the following rules: << If $relative is an absolute URI reference, it is returned unchanged. If $relative or $base is not a valid xs:anyURI an error is raised [err:FORG0002]. If $relative is the empty sequence, the empty sequence is returned. >> which I bevlieve should be applied in order. here the first rule applies and the $relative argument should be returned unchanged. - Jerome
Jerome: Actually I was attemping to do something different with the test, but never quite got to it. You are correct. I resubmitted the results and change the catalog entry. Please close the bug if able to verify and if in agreement. Thanks, Carmelo
I agree that the test should succeed. I also think that the result should not be http://www.examples.com as expected in 0.8.6, but rather http://www.examples.com/ (If you have changed the results in fixing this, my apologies: please close it again!) Michael Kay
Michael: The current (not viewable in 0.8.6 is "http://www.examples.com/" as suggested. I will go ahead and close the bug. Carmelo
