-1 should map to rows.length, like it does for insertRow. I checked that Chrome, Firefox and Safari do so for the following testcase: <table> <tbody id="testBody"> <tr><td>ABCDEF</td></tr> <tr><td>12345</td></tr> <tr><td>ABC12345DEF</td></tr> </tbody> </table> <script> var tbody = document.getElementById("testBody"); tbody.deleteRow(-1); </script>
