CastAs080 and CastAs162 test for implementation defined behaviour. http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-functions/#casting-from-strings "For xs:anyURI, the extent to which an implementation validates the lexical form of xs:anyURI is ·implementation dependent·."
Same goes for CastableAs080 and CastableAs162
Should the "compare" attribute for thsi be set to "Inspect", if so I can make the change. Carmelo
I don't think it should test for implementation defined behaviour at all, should it? After all, it's supposed to test for conformance to the standard, so if this aspect is not standardized, it should not be tested.
I agree. I'll replace these cast expressions with URIs that will definately validate. thanks, Joanne
