This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
As I'm sure many of the users do, I generally have quite a few files that need to be validated when I'm either finalizing a site or revalidating one. Therefore, it would be amazingly handy if one, or both, methods listed of multiple file validation were implemented. 1) The user uploads either a list of local files, a zip file, or specifying a local directory. The validator then unpacks/traverses the files and validates all of them, with some kind of demarcation between each file. 2) The user specifies a URL and the validator crawls to the end of the graph produced by any /local/ links on that pages that it links to (and that they link to, etc.) I don't know if this is in the works or not, but I didn't see anything in the mailing lists or the bug archive, and as I think it'd be a neat thing to be able to do, I put it here.
