This test reads: let $f := function($x as xs:double){map(round#1, $x)} return $f((1.2345, 6.789)) This throws an unintended type error because a sequence of two doubles is being passed to a function that expects a singleton.
The test has been corrected by making the function expect a sequence of xs:doubles.
