Erik: Didn't Alain want 'type' to be an AVT?

Alain: It could be

Steven: I'd prefer it to be a separate issue

Steven: I'd like more time to think about it.

Erik: You can change types dynamically with binds already

Erik: We don't allow types to be AVTs in our implementation

Steven: My suggestion is to treat them like other expressions in the model

ACTION: Steven update AVT evaluation for model

Erik: I'll dig out what I said about [back] before. We are limited by what the browser allows

Alain: You can get a message box about "Are you sure?", so there must be something we can do.

Erik: There are a bunch of things you can do on returning to a tab
… but the document may have been unloaded

Alain: the XForms in ixml was interesting to see, but it is missing namespaces

Steven: Yes, the WG hasn't yet reached consensus on how to do it. I have a way, but I didn't want to muddy the waters by using it.
