Dropping my notes here:

Started 2 month ago

Code expected end 2025.

Both mobile and web but mobile is first target.

Open Source, based on W3C VC and DID.

Hoping for solution that works across borders.

Certificates from Taiwan government, but expected also schools, universities,

and hopefully also institutions outside Taiwan.

First step is for Taiwan,

but talking about reaching out to Korea, Japan...

Trust model so far is centralized, to meet need of government.

Are preparing a report how to align with EU wallet, but difficult question.

Federated trust model is more difficult,

but having bi-monthly meetings to discuss, among other things, the trust model.

Programming so far in Java.

Q: What are the targets: includes payment?

A: Can be used as a membership card, and also for payment.

But financial regulations are strict.

Open Source model comes with its own threats: is the verifier fake?

Q: Or code could steal an identity and use it somewhere else.

Q: What will change management be like, long-term plans?

A: Will be talking about it at (international) conferences,

hoping for companies to join in.

Aiming for standardization.

<denkeni> Our trust model is aiming for decentralized trust model
